Receptionist

Receptionists are working in the reception area of ​​a hotel or guest establishment. They are the most important point of contact for all requests of the guests and at the same time the business card of the house. Tasks include:

  • reservation acceptance

  • warmly welcome guests and say goodbye (check-in & check-out)

  • providing information of any kind (hiking trails, ski resorts, shopping, attractions, etc.)

  • receive phone calls, process inquiries

  • posting the services to the accounts of the guests, manage the cash desk

  • information service about the leisure facilities in the hotel (swimming pool, saunas, fitness and leisure program)

  • accompaniment of the guests in their room, presentation of the house and explanation of the various functions in the room

  • meet any wishes of guests or forward them to the departments

  • preparation of the bill on departure (checkout)

 

Prerequisites for this profession are very good language skills in both national languages ​​(German and Italian), proper use of computer programs, organizational skills, enjoyment of dealing with guests.
