Sommelier is the definition of a wine waiter in the fine gastronomy. In a hotel or a restaurant with a well-stocked wine cellar, the sommelier is responsible for a number of activities:

  • purchase/order of the wine assortment

  • correct storage and care of the wines in the cellar

  • design of wine lists

  • advice to the guests about the wine offer

The highest art of the sommelier is the creation of the perfect harmony of food and drink. The aim of the sommelier is the well-being of the guest.
